Nu Pi Sigma Chapter Empowers Youth at Annual Youth Symposium in Denton, TX

Denton, TX — April 12, 2025 — The Nu Pi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., in collaboration with the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Chapters, proudly participated in the Sorority’s Annual Youth Symposium, held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Denton, Texas.

This year’s national theme, “Lead the Change: Building Tomorrow’s Leaders, Today,” inspired an impactful day of learning and growth for local youth. The symposium featured a series of interactive workshops designed to equip students with essential life skills in financial literacy, safety awareness, technology, and healthy living.

Nu Pi Sigma Sorors, along with dedicated Philos and expert facilitators, united to pour into the next generation—offering guidance, resources, and mentorship to help young people navigate their futures with confidence and purpose.

“We believe in the power of education and engagement,” said Chapter President Nicole Woods. “Through the Youth Symposium, we are investing in tomorrow’s leaders and helping create stronger, more informed communities.” The Youth Symposium is one of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.’s signature national programs, held annually in chapters across the country. The event continues to serve as a cornerstone of the Sorority’s commitment to youth empowerment and community uplift.
