Since 1922, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action. Through active participation in programs and networking with other organizations such as the National Council of Negro Women, Urban League and the NAACP, Sigma's legacy of service to improve the quality of life for all mankind continues. The Nu Pi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho was established to serve the city of Denton, Texas and surrounding communities.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Nu Pi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Our chapter was chartered in Denton, TX on September 25, 2022 with a vision of serving Denton and the surrounding areas through Greater Service, Greater Progress.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has been serving communities across the country for 100 years with a mission to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action. The goal of the Nu Pi Sigma Chapter is to partner with like-minded organizations and individuals that we can collaborate with to further this mission during our Centennial year and beyond.
