Weekly Wellness Tip - 10/07/2026
This week’s Weekly Wellness Tip is called Falling into Wellness. Now that we are into the fall months and close to the end of the 2026, the transition to shorter and busier days is happening, so to help ease into this change, we must keep our mental and physical health in check.

Here are 5 tips to prepare you:
1.) Start taking a Vitamin D supplement. Since we get most of our Vitamin D from the sun, our intake decreases when the weather becomes colder and we’re spending more time inside during the fall/winter seasons. If it’s challenging to get outside, a Vitamin D supplement can help boost your mood and immune system!
2.) Get your flu shot and yearly check-up. Bobby Brown said…”It’s my prerogative,” BUT we know that no one likes sniffling, body aching, sneezing and coughing getting in the way of life, so just think about it.
3.) Get yourself ready for Daylight Savings Time. Try going to bed earlier when you can, especially the week before those clocks change. Longer periods of darkness = longer periods of sleep! And we could all use a little more sleep.
4.) Keep a schedule and make plans for the upcoming cold months. The cold months tend to drag on and push us into isolation and hibernation so try your best to stay on track by scheduling time in your day to do things that are important and enjoyable to you so that you stay busy.
5.) Moisturize your skin. I know most of us already do this, BUT those harsh temperatures can make your skin very dry. Also, don’t be afraid to wear sunscreen or some kind of SPF moisturizer, not only will it protect your skin, but you will be glowing.
