Eta Alpha - University of North Texas
The Eta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was originally chartered on February 7, 1976, by six visionary women on the campus of the University of North Texas. After a brief hiatus, the chapter was reactivated on October 28, 1991, by ten dedicated and “Exquisite” women committed to continuing the legacy of sisterhood and service.

Since its reestablishment, the Eta Alpha Chapter has remained steadfast in upholding the ideals of Sigma Gamma Rho through impactful community service, the empowerment of women, educational advancement, and the promotion of lifelong sisterhood. The chapter actively supports the sorority’s mission by implementing signature programs and creating meaningful service opportunities that reflect the core values of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
