Since 1922, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action. Through active participation in programs and networking with other organizations such as the National Council of Negro Women, Urban League and the NAACP, Sigma's legacy of service to improve the quality of life for all mankind continues. The Nu Pi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho was established to serve the city of Denton, Texas and surrounding communities.

It is an honor to serve as Chapter President (Basileus) of this extraordinary chapter. Chartered in Denton, Texas, on September 25, 2022, Nu Pi Sigma is committed to advancing Greater Service, Greater Progress while making a meaningful difference throughout Denton County.

For more than 100 years, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has enhanced the lives of women, families, and communities through service, leadership, education, and social action. We proudly continue that legacy by building meaningful partnerships, empowering leaders, and creating lasting impact throughout Denton County.
